Dissolution in a Pandemic World

We, the mystics,  talk about dissolution in the clear light.  We experience dissolution of the self during extraordinary moments,  We experience moments of dissolution when we meditate with a Master of Light.  We dissolve during meditation, dharma writing, teaching, and dreaming. We dissolve and merge into the clear light in desert nights, or in a Category 5 hurricane in Hilo.

The process of dissolution ushers us into the most pristine energy worlds which are indescribably beautiful–out of this world.   We literally dissolve during moments of Satori and Samadhi.  Literally.  When we get solid the patterns of our subtle body reorder, and our experience of the world changes as a result of this dissolution.

Suddenly, in late January of 2020 we heard that there was a Pandemic.  Slowly, and then rapidly, the world changed.  Much of American is on lock down in an attempt to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus.  Everything is closed, and we are ordered to stay inside.  Few people are allowed to work, schools are closed, and the world is slowing down.  An entire world is forced to slow down!   Fear is ruling emotion, manifesting in a variety pack of anxiety, hatred, blame, and negative thoughts.  A cloud of panic is reigning.

Can you see the opportunity?   Can you sense deep in your darkest light the shift that is possible when the world slows down?  When you and I HAVE to be alone, be still, and dissolve?  We may be used to this, or at least familiar with the process of awakening.  But what about the world of beings who are now forced into a slow down, a shut down, isolation?  Imagine the fear of the minds of the people of the world!  We don’t have to imagine the fears, we touch those fears daily, moment by moment.  The Pandemic is going to change the world.  I wonder what the change will look like?

How can we create a new world?  What if the networks of Enlightenment  collectively dissolve and create.  “Any movement towards unity is a movement towards Enlightenment” Rama.

Take the time, use the time, the forced isolation, to do your work.  Practice meditation with groups online. Use this time to refine your practice,  meditate, be mindful,  live in the present moment in joy and hope.  What an opportunity to shift your attention all day and night from fear to love, from desperation to calm, from dark light to light.

Ask eternity how you can help.  Karma Yoga is a high calling.
